My husband Clint and I are located in the town of Colchester, Connecticut and decided to start breeding this ancient breed, to develop strong lines and preserve the strength of these wonderful felines.

Clint and I are both Specialty Judges within the cat fancy and work hard at improving our breed.  Clint is a Specialty Judge and chairs the Abyssinian Breed Council in AACE.   Rene is a Specialty Judge in TICA.   Pentaclecats Cattery is a vet inspected TICA cattery of Excellence, as well as being certified in the TICA voluntary Responsible Breeder Program. 

We also run a cat rescue organization - Helping Paws.    We realized that in order to preserve the breeds, responsible breeders were needed.  There was no one better than us, who saw everyday what irresponsibility can do in the purebred and domestic world.

When you purchase one of our babies you can be assured that your little one is happy and healthy. Our kittens are raised with the rest of our family, and are well socialized before placement. When you purchase a kitten from us, you will be required to sign a contract for your protection, ours, and the kitten. We do not ship our kittens, but you are more than welcome to make arrangements for a visit with us, give us a call or send us an email so we can work out the details.
